   I did about 500 hours of OT, had flex hours, submitted for night Dif.   Pension based on 98K salary..... 49K pension MINUS $9050.00.... because I took the final pension loan (which was 96K or so).

   
   

   I didn't expect the shortage to affect my numbers so much ($9050 less per year), that was a surprise, and the reason I went down there this morning.  

   
   

   Pension is $3375 / month .... went up about $450 per month.  My retro is $11,500.00.

   
   

   I admit I was expecting more, and was told because I retired so young (40 1/2) the shortage affected the numbers more.

   What was the total of OT that you did and what did you base your pension #'s on your last year or the ur best three. Seem's low, I'm owed the PERB contract, and the first 4% and ten month's of the 2nd year  (3.75%) give or take a few. Also I did about 1800 hrs  of OT in my last three, which is what my pension is based on..
   I know you had some night dif in there but that does seem low. I got out with 21 1/2 years on. Did not take the final loan, but did have have a small shortage plus an outstanding loan.

   I retired in Jan '08 as a PO..... I just went down to the pension section with my paperwork in hand, because I had some questions.

   yeah, Don't need to know all the #'s but how much did your monthly check go up. Did you do a lot of OT, day tour or night's.
